This is a great family activity with options to hire a monster paddle board and to snor-kel over the reef. For the more adventurous, our guided SUP Safari explores the spec-tacular southerly coastline of the Rock.
New in 2019, our Camp Bay SUP Centre will feature awesome sunset paddles with fantastic views of Africa and the Rock.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
Great location for SUPing, professional team and excellent atmosphere
Tom and the team are very professional and will make sure you have fun and a good time. They are very patient when teaching beginners and are happy to leave the more experienced SUPers to do what they want.
Sandy Bay is an excellent location for both beginners and experienced SUPers. It is protected by groynes on all sides so beginners are protected from the elements while more experienced SUPers can go outside of the groynes and get a unique perspective of the Rock.
Definitely a highlight of Gibraltar.

Also offers top tips to all paddle boarders… and top quality products. Always go back every Summer

Fitness and fun!
We regularly rent stand up paddle boards from Tom and the team. They are very professional and show beginners how to stand and navigate the boards. Life jackets are provided and the team stay in the water with newbies in case of difficulty. They make everyone feel really welcomed.
On Sundays the group meet early and all go quite far out as a group where they often see dolphins.
Tom also hires out the monster paddle board for parties which we did last year for our 12 year old. The kids had an amazing time and we will definitely repeat.
Have a go if you have never tried, it’s fun, great for your core and totally addictive!

We have two amazing SUP centres in Gibraltar, Sandy Bay on the East side of the Rock and Camp Bay on the Westside.
The Sandy Bay location is in the middle of Sandy Bay Beach 700m past the Caleta Hotel and our Camp Bay is based in the beach bar to the left of the beach.
In the Summer months parking is difficult around Sandy Bay, there is limited parking available on Sir Herbert Mile Road in designated areas (please read the parking signs). Another option is to park at Catalan Bay and walk the 1km to Sandy bay. However, there is a very good bus service (No. 4 and 8) that runs from the Market place to Sandy Bay (www.gibraltarbuscompany.gi)
Camp Bay has more parking although in the Summer Months weekends and evenings are busy. Europa Point has additional parking spaces which is a 1 km walk to Camp bay.

Yes, providing it is suitable.
You’ll need to arrive at least 10 minutes before your session’s start time. We cannot accommodate late-comers as it affects the session for other customers on the SUP experience. Remember parking may be difficult in the Summer and if coming from Spain that the Frontier queue can vary.
Depending on the direction of the wind and the strength we do have to cancel sessions. We can normally predict the wind in advance and plan accordingly. The general rule in Gibraltar is that mornings and evenings are the best time to SUP. The two SUP centres on different sides of the Rock does enable us to plan a sheltered Paddles or use the wind to our advantage depending on the activity you have booked on.
We will cancel, if we deem conditions to be unsuitable (e.g. very strong winds, fast fluvial flows, etc.), but we are not put off by a bit of rain or wind. If your session is cancelled by us, you will have an option to reschedule or a refund. We also occasionally postpone due to Jellyfish. The refund will be subject to a fee of 10% of the booking. However, we try to work together to find a solution.
Full refund if notice of cancellation has been received at least 24 hours before the activity.
