Gibraltar is an incredible place for Stand Up Paddling (SUP), every outing delivers a unique experience. Join us at Sandy Bay for a relaxed SUP in the stunning sheltered bay. The morning paddles provide ideal conditions to view the spectacular Rock monolith which dominates the landscape and to view the sun rising over the Mediterranean sea.

This is a great family activity with options to hire a monster paddle board and to snor-kel over the reef. For the more adventurous, our guided SUP Safari explores the spec-tacular southerly coastline of the Rock.

New in 2019, our Camp Bay SUP Centre will feature awesome sunset paddles with fantastic views of Africa and the Rock.

The Sandy Bay location is in the middle of Sandy Bay Beach 700m past the Caleta Hotel and our Camp Bay is based in the beach bar to the left of the beach.

Is parking available?

In the Summer months parking is difficult around Sandy Bay, there is limited parking available on Sir Herbert Mile Road in designated areas (please read the parking signs). Another option is to park at Catalan Bay and walk the 1km to Sandy bay. However, there is a very good bus service (No. 4 and 8) that runs from the Market place to Sandy Bay (
Camp Bay has more parking although in the Summer Months weekends and evenings are busy. Europa Point has additional parking spaces which is a 1 km walk to Camp bay.

What time do I need to arrive?

You’ll need to arrive at least 10 minutes before your session’s start time. We cannot accommodate late-comers as it affects the session for other customers on the SUP experience. Remember parking may be difficult in the Summer and if coming from Spain that the Frontier queue can vary.

Depending on the direction of the wind and the strength we do have to cancel sessions. We can normally predict the wind in advance and plan accordingly. The general rule in Gibraltar is that mornings and evenings are the best time to SUP. The two SUP centres on different sides of the Rock does enable us to plan a sheltered Paddles or use the wind to our advantage depending on the activity you have booked on.

Do sessions ever get cancelled?

We will cancel, if we deem conditions to be unsuitable (e.g. very strong winds, fast fluvial flows, etc.), but we are not put off by a bit of rain or wind. If your session is cancelled by us, you will have an option to reschedule or a refund. We also occasionally postpone due to Jellyfish. The refund will be subject to a fee of 10% of the booking. However, we try to work together to find a solution.

Can I cancel?

Full refund if notice of cancellation has been received at least 24 hours before the activity.

Yes certainly, why not treat someone to a In2adventures Stand Up Paddleboarding gift voucher, an ideal present for any time of the year. The vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be purchased for any activity we offer.  Please buy a gift voucher by emailing
